Piece count vs. piece size
A 30-piece pack of tiny squishies and a 10-piece pack of palm-sized ones are very different. Look for the size of each piece, not just the total count.
Age suitability for the group
At a party or in a classroom, the group may include younger siblings. Small pieces may not be appropriate. Choose a pack whose age label suits the youngest child likely to handle it.
Variety and fairness
Mixed designs are fun, but children may all want the same one. Check whether the photos show the exact designs included or just examples, and whether the designs repeat.
Packaging
Individually wrapped pieces are easier to hand out and keep clean. Bulk-packed pieces may arrive squashed and need time to recover their shape.
Quality expectations
Large value packs often have simpler designs and lighter foam than single collectible squishies. That can be perfect for party favors, as long as expectations are set.
Shopping checklist
- Compare the size of each piece, not just the count.
- Choose an age label that suits the youngest child.
- Check whether exact designs are shown.
